Find out more about the Wheatsheaf,
our history, the local area and the team at the pub.

The Wheatsheaf is located in the centre of Midhurst.
Our grade II listed building dates back to 1621 and part of the pub used to be the Squire’s Chapel of a Catholic church. This now serves as the pub’s function room and can seat 30 people.

The pub is warm and inviting throughout and it has retained many of its original features with solid oak beams, wooden floors, roaring log fires and slate floors.

Be sure to check out the pair of 17th century childrens shoes in the rafters

Our kitchen serves a variety of delicious, home cooked food. Be sure to download our menus on the Food & Drink tab above. We also serve a variety of fine wines and award winning Badger Ales from independent Family Brewers Hall & Woodhouse.

The Wheatsheaf is close to the Cowdray Park Estate and Polo club. Being just five miles from Goodwood Race Course this is a great location for tourists. Visit us soon and you’re sure to be more than impressed!
